Fire System: Kitchen Hood

Another issue mentioned at the FAC meeting with the Fire Marshal was the need to upgrade to a "wet" extinguishing system built into the stove vent hood. Older systems "dry chemical" type would have to be upgraded.

Good news is that we have a wet system. I checked that when at the house this weekend. So at least that is something we will not have to retrofit.  They put it in with the recent renovation.

The service that maintains the hood extinguishers and alarm system is the contractor of necessity for the new alarm system.
